Dr Jugal Kishore
A medical educator, public health expert; Born in a village in New Delhi, 1967. Schooling from Jamia Milia Islamia, MBBS MAMC, MD (Com Medicine) AIIMS, ND, MSc Mental Health and PhD Psychiatry. Worked at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Nepal and Center for Occupational & Environmental Health at LN Hospital. MSc in Ecology & Environment, Sustainable Development. Completed Advanced Course in Medical Education, and Exe Prog in policy, planning, leadership & management. Fellow of NAMS, IMSA, IPHA, IAPSM, IMAAMS. IAAH, IASS; More than 500 research papers. Editor of Indian Journal of Youth & Adolescent Health and Epidemiology International. Authored 40 books: National Health Programs of India, Dictionary of Public Health, Vanishing Girl Child, Practical & Viva in Community Medicine, A Textbook of Health for Health Workers, A Comprehensive Textbook of Elderly Care, History of Public Health, Pioneering Social Reform of India. The mission is to liberate human beings through education & development of public health.
